Why do we need to lose fat% before starting up with weight training?

We all know that an obese person finds it very hard to even hold his weight to make the basic movements required for a normal life like getting up from the bed, walking from room to room, sitting on a sofa and standing again when he has to turn off the stove and the list continues.

You can now yourself imagine the weight that he manages to carry and fight with, every day. It is very obvious that if this person has to hit the gym directly he will still not be increasing his endurance and activeness just by doing weight training.
